Consultation and Supervision

Consultation is a service provided to any clinician looking for feedback, guidance, or educational material to help with specific client cases. Consultation is not supervision. Consultees maintain full autonomy and responsibility for decisions involving client treatment. Our therapists are sought after for their knowledge and skill and are passionate about providing education and leadership in the therapeutic community.

Clinical Supervision for
LMFT, LCSW, and LPC

Clinical supervision for LMFT, LCSW, and LPC is a formal process of professional support, reflection, and learning that contributes to individual development. The goals of clinical supervision include:

Opportunities for mental health professionals to learn new skills and techniques, as well as to stay up to date on the latest research and best practices. Help mental health professionals to develop their clinical judgment and to make better decisions about the care of their clients. Help mental health professionals to understand and uphold ethical standards of practice. Provide a supportive environment for mental health professionals to discuss their challenges and to receive support. Help mental health professionals to develop their professional identity and to feel more confident in their work.

Clinical supervision can be delivered as individual or group supervision. The frequency of supervision sessions will vary depending on the needs of the supervisee and the setting in which they work.

Clinical supervision is an essential part of the training and development of mental health professionals. It provides a safe and confidential space for supervisees to discuss their work, receive feedback, and learn from more experienced colleagues. Clinical supervision can also help to prevent burnout and promote self-care among mental health professionals.

Mentoring for Therapists

Being a therapist can feel isolating at times.

Questions arise as to how to shape one’s career. What training should I take? What’s it like to work at a private practice? In community mental health? Where do I go from here? We offer the opportunity to talk about your career and the direction you want to go with therapists who have been there.
