Brittany Weaver, LMFT, LPC (she/her)
Brittany is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Profession Counselor with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hill University. Brittany is TFCBT certified, EMDR trained and working on her EMDR certification. Brittany also has experience treating ADHD through individual and group therapy as well as family therapy. Brittany primarily works with individuals 14 and up in both the individual and group setting and is committed to meet clients where they are in their own development and help heal.
Brittany has more than 13 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. She began her career working as an in-home Family Based Therapist with children and families. She then worked as a school-based therapist with school age children treating children struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. She then moved to the Outpatient setting where she continued to work with Adults, Children, Families and Couples treating ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationships.
Brittany has also been a clinical supervisor since 2021 and, before joining PCIT, co-lead the Family Therapy Clinic and the UPMC Center for Children and Families teaching clinicians through live supervision how to do family therapy.
Brittany is passionate about growth, learning, traveling, and creating a safe space for those she works with to heal the needed parts of themselves.
