Embodying the Ideal Caregiver Consultation Group

$60.00

Join Brooke and Annie to explore how attachment and trauma histories can be activated during caregiving, learn to assess and how to help adult clients recognize these patterns, and practice the Embodying the Ideal Caregiver resourcing technique to build confidence, enhance motivation, and quickly improve regulation during caregiving triggers.

Embodying the Ideal Caregiver is an EMDR Phase II resourcing technique. This script both serves as a way to create or enhance adaptive information around aspirational ways of parenting, and helps the client make connections between current triggers and past experiences.

Clients will learn to evaluate parts of themselves that are activated in parenting their children, make connections to their own early experiences, assess potential targets for EMDR processing, and build or enhance skills to engage in a more ideal way during the deeper work.
